Creating a Welcoming Fall Home with Sparklefly Candles and Sparkle Stones

by Anne Marie Esposito, President and Founder, Sparklefly Candle Company, Inc.

Fall is the perfect time to create a warm and welcoming interior to escape from the chill outside.  The colors of gold, brown, crimson and orange make this a simple task.  Combining the colors with the comforting scents of the season such as Gingerbread, Pumpkin Spice, Coffee and By the Fire inspires a retreat for the soul and a cozy place for friends to visit.

The mantle is the focal point of the room, a warm inviting fire below and a glowing and rich feel above sets the stage for a "come in and stay a while" statement. I always tend to keep it as simple as possible when creating any space. To create this look, I took my warmest and yummiest scents with a Gingerbread Medium Tumbler Candle and a Pumpkin Spice Tall Tumbler Candle that not only look fabulous together but smell like a holiday dream. To bring the colors together in harmony, I took a Medium Tumbler that I cleaned out by freezing the remaining inch of wax overnight in the freezer and then popping it out and cleaning the residue out with our Wax Remover. Then I took that empty jar and filled it with glass acorns from the local craft store. Anchoring the trio on both sides are tea light holders that I re-purposed to hold Sangria Punch Sparkle Stones and placing a Fall garland across the back.

Another gathering place for my friends and I is on the sofas, with our coffee in hand, catching up. Here I've created an inviting and sunny place to pass the time.  Instead of reserving my favorite platter for special occasions, I proudly display it alongside my favorite woodsy pumpkin.  You can't tell from the picture, but this pumpkin also lights up, LOVE.  All that is needed is a Pumpkin Spice Tall Tumbler accented by a golden yellow sunflower and a Lemon Poppyseed Medium Tumbler of Sparkle Stones to reflect the bits of yellow gold in the platter.  So warm looking and delicious smelling.
